Super Falcons striker, Uchenna Kanu has expressed optimism on the ability of the team to perform optimally at the Turkey Women Championship.

The Linkopings striker said she is excited to represent the country once again, after a long break, moreover with a new coach. “I am prepared to work with the new coach, and as a striker, I am ready to do my job effectively. I look forward to our first game, and we will take it from there” she concluded.

Born on 20 June, 1997, Uche Kanu debuted for the Super Falcons in a 1-2 friendly match loss to Canada on 8 April, 2019.

She was a member of the 2014 U-17 where she scored three goals, and also played for the U-20 team the same year.

The Southeastern University graduate already scored 10 goals for the Super Falcons in 5 appearances.
