Parish Priest of the church, Reverend Father Anthony Akiwowo, who spoke with Pensioners FM, urged Christians to use the occasion of Easter Monday, commonly known as Galilee, to show love to mankind.

Father Akiwowo noted that Easter Monday celebration is also a key event which concludes the celebration of Easter.

“Part of our joy is what we are witnessing today where Jesus told Mary Magdalene to meet him at Galilee. At Galilee, he chatted and made merry with them. That is what we are having today. That’s why we are here.”

Also speaking, President of Catholic Men Organization and Catholic Women Organization of the parish, Mr Peter Chibuogwu and Mrs Patricia Fadimu, said the occasion provided another opportunity for parishioners to further bond with one another.
