A group known as ‘Revolution Now’ have protested in some areas of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Monday, 6th of February, 2023.
Pensioner FM reports that the protest is tagged ’Buhari Must Go’.


Speaking, one of the protesters who identified himself as Comrade Ekanem, said the aim of the protest was to express their displeasure over the unfavourable hardship in the country.
“We are here due to the present situation in the country, we have given them enough time to fix their mess, but they have not, so we are here to fight for our right, our Fundamental Human Right”
Also speaking, a protester who also identified himself simply as Comrade Solomon, said Nigerians cannot continue with the hardship being meted on them, hence the protest.


“today is a day we match to end the operation being meted on Nigerians, we cannot continue to endeavour this hardship, this administration does not care about the welfare of its people.”
Comrade Ekanem and Comrade Solomon called on Nigerians to demand the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Protests over fuel and naira notes scarcity have been rocking some part of the country in the past few weeks.
