Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP, Oyo State Chapter, has again reiterated its stands in support of Governor Seyi Makinde’s second term ambition.

The Union stated this today while holding prayers at the Ewe Olorunsogo-Amuloko area of Ibadan in preparation for tomorrow’s solidarity rally in support of Governor Makinde-led administration.

Speaking with Pensioners’ FM correspondent, the Chairman, Ibadan South-East of the Union, Alhaji Ismaila Akinsola, said the prayer gathering was to raise an altar on behalf of Governor Makinde in order to succeed in his administration and the next dispensation.

Appreciating Governor Makinde for his care and support towards all Pensioners in the State, Alhaji Akinsola called on him to look into the gratuities of Pensioners of the year 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2019.

Akinsola said “we are very lucky to have Governor Seyi Makinde, who looks into our plight, and also pay our pension as at when due, we are here today to appreciate him and also pray to Almighty Allah to help him in all his endeavours”.

Oyo State Executive of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners had earlier released a statement urging its members to turn out en mass for the rally billed for the Oyo State Secretariat tomorrow by 10am.
