Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP, Oyo State, and some members of staff of Pensioners FM, have paid a condolence visit to the family of a former driver of the Union, Mr Akeem Badmus popularly known as Baba Oyato, who passed away in the early hours of Tuesday.
Baba Oyato died during a brief illness at the age of 67.
Wife of the deceased, Mrs Ganiya Badmus who spoke to Pensioners’ FM’s Correspondent, described her husband as loving and caring, whose demise would create a vacuum.
The first son of the deceased, Mr Oluwashina Badmus, who spoke on behalf of his siblings, said their father invested greatly in their upbringing.
Also speaking, the younger brother to the deceased, Mr Afolabi Olayemi harped on Mr Badmus Leadership role in the family. Saying That “ He Was A Good Role Model In The Family”
Speaking on behalf of Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Oyo state Council, the Union’s Administrative Officer, Mrs OLAWUNMI ALONGE “expressed sadness over Mr Badmus sudden death and prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss”.
Mr Akeem Badmus aka Baba Oyato would be buried this evening according to Islamic Rites
