The Labour Party in Oyo State on Friday has debunked news making rounds that it has collapsed into All Progressives Congress, APC.
In a statement issued and signed by the Party’s State Chairman, Mr. Atayese Tunji Sadiq, the news of its party collapsing is unfounded and as such should be disregarded by the people.
“This is nothing but deliberate falsehood at gaining cheap popularity”
Mr. Atayese said, the rumour is a figment of imagination of some unscrupulous politicians who have lost their political values and are on a do or die mission.
“It is a sakamanje of the highest degree and a semblance of a kind of governance and representation we should expect from them and a huge joke carried too far”
“Is it these same people that the politicians in both APC and PDP neglected in the last 16 years that they are saying have decamped into their party? How can?”
The party Chairman, stated further that Labour Party is resolute at restoring dignity and good governance to the people, stressing that the party has a date with destiny in the forth coming general election.
