If stakeholders do the needful, the education sector would not remain the same again.
This is the submission of the Chairman, House Committee on Education, Mr. Babatunde Ibirogba during a visit to Osun State College of Education, Ila Orangun and Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
Mr. Ibirogba said all stakeholders should be proactive and contribute their quota to the development of the education sector to make it functional.
He promised that the House of Assembly would look into the challenges facing the schools while assuring proper funding of Tertiary institutions in the state.
Other members of the committee advised the institutions to make entrepreneurial skills as a course of study to solve unemployment problems among graduates.
Meanwhile, in their response, the Provost College of Education, Ila Orangun, Professor Issac Oyewole and Rector, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Dr. Olawoye Olaniran solicited the support of the legislature in filling various vacancy posts in the institutions.
