Medical Doctor Harps On Better Welfare For Asthmatic Patients

A Medical Expert Doctor Chukuma Okoli has advised asthmatic patients to make good use of Oral medication and inhalers for effective management of the illness.

Speaking on Pensioners FM Health Programme, Radio Clinic on this year’s World Asthma Day, Doctor Okoli said Asthma could be hereditary and its management differs.

“What I discovered is that a lot of people don’t know they have Asthma, people tend to mix it with Tuberculosis whereas they are not the same”

Doctor Okoli who maintained that Asthma is a lifelong ailment advised patients never to breathe into their inhalers.

He urged government to train medical experts on management of Asthma.
