Media Practitioners and Youths have been charged to extol the virtues of steadfastness in aspiring for greatness.

A media Expert and former Chief film production officer with the Oyo State Ministry of Information, Mr Abdul-Rasheed Adegbite gave the charge during an interview with Pensioners FM correspondent.

Speaking on the journalistic skills with people at the helms of affairs, MR Adegbite said upcoming broadcasters and journalists must be teachable and respectful in order to achieve the set goals of journalism.

“You must have good absorber. At times you see, they will annoy you, “Ah Oga, please, (mimicking a boss). They will shout at you but it is you that will want to get good result”

Mr Adegbite also commended efforts of the media industry for introducing digital equipment in the media practice.

“In time past, we were using bollix camera, which is film alone. You have to get equipment, gadgets for sound to boost your production. By then we were using cellular films which is hundred feet and it is 2minutes, 3seconds”. But today, technology has improved in the Media industry”

The media Expert advised media practitioners to make professionalism their watchword.
