The Ibadan Grammar School Old Students Association IGSOSA is to embark on a Global Membership Drive with a view to harnessing the potentials the great potentials of members for the growth and development of the iconic institution.
The new National President of the Association Mr. Dimeji Mako announced this at the 109th Founders Day anniversary and the Annual General Meeting of the school held at Emmanuel Alayande Hall.
Delivering his acceptance speech, Mr Mako explained that his administration would put in place a standardized and needs based interventions in the area of projects pointing out that the era of scattered and uncontrolled development in the school was over.
To this end, the President stated that IGSOSA Foundation would be given the responsibility to oversee all physical infrastructure and academic programs in Ibadan Grammar School.
Mr. Mako gave assurance that a new leadership system would be put in place to ensure an orderly succession and guarantee a seamless transfer of power from one regime to another.
Other Officers included First National Vice President Balogun Gaphar Ojetola, Second National Vice President Mr. Seye Adeyemo and National General Secretary Engineer Abiodun Akinbile.
Mr Kunle Oluwole National Treasurer, National Auditor Hammed Oladipupo and National Publicity and Social Secretary Mr Akinyinka Akintola General Manager Radio Nigeria Paramount FM Abeokuta.
