Farmers in Adeosun, Awotan and Akufo in Ido local Government area of Oyo State have decried the delay in rainfall saying the development could have adverse effects on production of farm produce.

A farmer, Samuel Giwa while reacting to the development in an interview with our Correspondent said the country needs fervent prayers as he attributed the delay in the start of the rainy season to societal ills.

Giwa said “In any situation where there is dry season, which has become long overdue, we need to pray so that Agriculture will thrive”

It is believed that global warming and climate change are affecting rainfall in some parts of the World.
