According to Alhaji Aliyu, Government at the Centre should wake up to the issues of insecurity by dealing appropriately with those perpetrating the evil act in the country.

Alhaji Aliyu further stressed that the Federal Government should desist from constant and unproductive dialogue with bandits but to ensure that lives of the citizens are protected.

“The Holy Quran says if you kill in your abode is hell, they kill people and you say you want to pardon those people, you want to engage them. What about the families of those people that are killed? They are in permanent sorrows. Why are we beating around the bush? The Government unnecessary attitude about tackling insecurity is the result of what we are seeing now”.

Alhaji Aliyu also enjoined journalists to persist in speaking the truth at all times and continue to keep the citizens informed of dangers looming in the country.
