After a successful trial in Lagos state, the Nigeria Judo Federation, NJF, has moved into the second phase of preparations for the 22nd Commonwealth Games.

Reports say four coaches and eighteen Judokas will converge on the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Oke-Ado, Ibadan from 14th April to begin the second phase of the build-up to the Games which will take place in Birmingham, United Kingdom from 28th July to 8th August, 2022.

Spokesman to the President of the Federation, IKPO IGBINOBA explained that President of the Federation, Dr. MUSA OSHODI opted for early camping for the Commonwealth Games because he was desirous of a historic outing for Nigeria.
