A Child Right Advocate, Prince Leye Adefioye, says children are not left out in the socio-economic challenges bedeviling the country at the moment and this can be detrimental to their wellbeing if nothing is done on time.

Prince Adefioye who is also a member of United Nations Children Fund, UNICEF made this known while speaking with Pensioners FM Correspondent, shortly after featuring on the station weekly health programme ‘Radio Clinic’.

He said parents are unable to provide basic needs for their children, citing the difficulty in accessing money, especially with Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN’s naira policy.

“The economy of the country is bad presently, situation where there is no money, you have money but you can’t access it. For children in school, they can’t not access money.”  

Prince Adefioye appealed to federal and State governments to hasten up in proffering solution to the issue of money in circulation.
