National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has appealed to all presidential aspirants, including the former vice-President Atiku Abubakar and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to come to the aid of Nigerian students.

The students urged the politicians to help raise funds to settle the demands of the striking University lecturers who extended their industrial action by another three months.

The statement said the students decided to make the appeal to the politicians following the failure of the Federal Government to meet the demands of ASUU despite many dialogues.

Recall that the ASUU had embarked on the strike, vowing to continue extending it until the Federal Government accedes to its demands.
