As Nigerians head out for Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections, today, Saturday, 18th of March, 2023, some residents in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital have defied the order by Nigeria Police Force, restricting Human and vehicular movement from 12am to 6pm.
Some residents were seen at Automated Teller Machine, ATM points trying to get cash.
Inspector-General of Police, IGP, Usman Baba, had ordered the restriction of all forms of vehicular movement on roads, waterways, and other forms of transportation.
IGP Baba, however, said those on essential services such as officials of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, electoral observers, accredited media as well as emergency responders are excluded.
